Opening Keynote Speaker at the Humans to Mars Summit 2014 April 22, 2014, at GWU in Washington D.C.

At NASA, Bolden has overseen the safe transition from 30 years of space shuttle missions to a new era of exploration focused on full utilization of the International Space Station and space and aeronautics technology development. He has led the agency in developing a Space Launch System rocket and Orion spacecraft that will carry astronauts to deep space destinations, such as an asteroid and Mars.

Sun Trust Building Reception:

On the evening of April 22, a special reception, sponsored by Google, will be held in the Sun Trust Building near The White House. This venue provides a view of The White House and other historical Washington, DC buildings. Hors D'oeuvres and drinks will be served. Admittance is free with a full H2M Registration. Make sure to register early. Space is limited for this event. (note: we ask that anyone bringing a guest or who received a free H2M registration to please pay the modest admission fee)

 

City View Room Reception:

On the evening of April 23rd, there will be a reception sponsored by Phillips & Company in the City View Room at GWU. This roof top facility features a stunning view of the Washington Monument. Hors D'oeuvres and drinks will be served. This reception will have a modest registration fee of $15. Make sure to register early. Space is limited for this event.

Pete Worden, Director NASA Ames, Speaking at Lunch Reception: At noon on April 24, there will be a special speakers lunch featuring NASA Ames Director, Pete Worden in the City View Room at GWU. In addition to lunch, we will also be serving wine provided by private astronaut, businessman, and wine producer, Greg Olsen. Make sure to register early. Space is limited for this event. Registration for this lunch is $45 (fee will increase on April 8th)
